November 1963 ndiyo siku aliyozaliwa mwimbaji Edith Lefel kutoka French Guyana,alizaliwa Guyana na kukulia  Martinique,alikuwa maarufu sana kwenye nyimbo zenye mahadhi ya Zouk-love,Kipaji chake kilichomoza mnamo mwaka wa 1984 akiwa anafanya kazi na Jean-Michel Cabrimol's group Maffia,mnamo mwaka wa 1987 Edith aliweza kufanya kazi na kundi maarufu la Malavoi pia amewahi kushirikiana na waimbaji mbalimbali,Edith alibahatika kupata watoto mapacha na producer maarufu wa kifaransa Ronald Rubine.Alitamba na vibao kadhaa kikiwemo  Fanm .Album yake ya mwisho kuitoa ilikuwa mnamo mwak 2002,Mnamo January 20,2003 akiwa na umri wa miaka 39 aliaga dunia,alilala na hakuamka tena sababu za kifo chake zilichangiwa na uvutaji sigara na utumiaji wa dawa za uzazi wa mpango.Alizikwa katika makaburi ya watu maarufu huko katika jiji la  Paris.

 Aishwarya chose a pink Gucci one of a kind gown which she accessorized with a silver clutch.

Aishwarya Rai was a stunner in a black glittery Armani Privé gown. And those red lips stole the show.

Ash walked the red carpet in a strapless white Roberto Cavalli gown paired with a pink Swarovski clutch.

Yesterday, Zoe Saldana walked the red carpet at Cannes for the premiere of "The Tree of Life". She looked absolutely amazing in this red and white gown by Giorgio Armani. Even though it can give associations to a giant candy cane, I absolutely adore the shape, structure and material of the dress; everything from the bustier to the cascading skirt to the silk organza. I really admire Zoe Saldana for playing around with fashion in this way - it makes the red carpet so much more fun and interesting!

Naomi Campbell Holds Japan Charity Show in Cannes

CANNES, France – Naomi Campbell's charity is piggybacking on the high-wattage Cannes Film Festival to organize a fashion show in aid of the Japanese Red Cross' earthquake and tsunami relief fund.

The show will be held Monday at a historic market not far from the headquarters of the French Riviera movie showcase, which is in full swing though May 22.

Campbell told Associated Press Television News that the theme of the show is red carpet, so "we thought it was appropriate" to stage it in Cannes.

She added, "You have to remind people that they still need help, so it had to be now."

Campbell's Fashion for Relief charity staged its first show in 2005 and says that since then it has raised 4.5 million pounds ($7.2 million).
